The Re-Designed Legatus
The Legatus is Alexander PCs Flagship Gaming Rig. In the Roman Army, the Legatus commanded the entire legion. And that's exactly what you'll be doing with this one!
As our flagship build, we wanted this one to have all the horsepower and all the RGB. We’re building on an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard for this one. For a GPU, you knew it had to be the King of GPUs - the GeForce RTX 3090. Any game on the market, good to go at high frame rates for your buttery smooth gaming pleasure. 8K visuals at 60fps available. Yeah, you read that right.
Of course we included our company favorite SSD setup as well - the 4th Generation PCIe NVMe M.2 configuration (that you can only get on an AMD platformed build) featuring the insane Sabrent Rocket 4.0 with a massive 2TB of unbelievably fast storage.
We’ve chosen the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X and its 12 cores/24 threads at speeds up to 4.8 GHz for this system, and paired it with… 64GB of G Skill Trident Z Royal DDR4-3600 RAM. This is bar none the best looking RAM in the game.
We have to call in an NZXT Kraken Z73 360mm all-in-one liquid cooling solution to ensure the CPU stays cool and very well lit. To make sure there’s plenty of extra efficient power for all these awesome components, we went with a 1200 watt 80-Plus Platinum rated unit. Finally, we opted for a Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic chassis for this one. It’s the perfect stage to show off the RBG smorgasbord - Which we go completely over the top with by adding 6 Corsair QL120 case fans - and for good measure we dump the stock Kraken fans and add 3 more iCUE QL120's to make sure it's a match all around.
With everything looking so colorful and shiny, stock cables would be a big time party foul, so we add some custom cable extensions - how could we not?
The Legatus comes with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit edition installed and updated.
