Frequently Asked Questions

What is Alexander PCs?

Alexander PCs is a veteran-owned custom PC company specializing in high-performance gaming PCs, creator systems, workstations, and one-of-one custom builds. Every system is built with care, tested before shipment, and supported by our US-based team.

Our goal is simple: build powerful, reliable, beautiful machines that our customers are proud to own.

Work. Play. Conquer.

Where are Alexander PCs built?

Alexander PCs systems are assembled and supported in the United States by our in-house team. We do not outsource our builds to anonymous third-party assembly lines. When you buy from Alexander PCs, you are buying from the people who actually build, test, and stand behind the machine.

Are you veteran-owned?

Yes. Alexander PCs is proudly veteran-owned. Discipline, accountability, attention to detail, and pride in the finished product are part of how we operate every day.

What types of PCs do you offer?

We offer several paths depending on what you need:

  • Ready-to-Ship PCs are completed systems that are already built and ready to ship quickly.
  • Preconfigured PCs are proven configurations designed around specific performance goals, budgets, and use cases.
  • Custom PCs are one-of-one systems built around your vision, including custom artwork, premium component choices, glasswork, advanced cooling, workstation hardware, and other high-end options.

We also offer Alexander Pro Series Workstations and NVIDIA Studio-focused systems for creators, professionals, and businesses.

How fast do Ready-to-Ship PCs ship?

Ready-to-Ship systems are already built and typically ship the next business day, subject to order processing, payment verification, and carrier pickup schedules.

How long do Preconfigured PCs take?

Preconfigured systems are built to order and typically ship in about a couple of weeks. Exact timing can vary depending on component availability, order volume, testing, and any requested changes.

We would rather take the time to build and test the system correctly than rush a machine out the door.

How long does a full custom PC take?

Full custom timelines vary by project. A clean custom build may move quickly, while complex one-of-one systems involving artwork, glasswork, water cooling, specialty components, or design work can take longer.

For custom projects, we will discuss the scope, expectations, and estimated timeline before moving forward.

Can I request specific components?

Yes. If you are ordering a custom system, we can discuss specific components, performance goals, brands, aesthetics, and upgrade paths. Availability, compatibility, thermals, and reliability all matter, so we will help guide you toward a build that makes sense.

For preconfigured systems, available component options may be limited to the choices shown on the product page.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Alexander PCs works with multiple pay over time providers, including options such as Affirm, Bread Pay, and PayPal Pay Later, when available at checkout.

Our financing partners set the terms, rates, payment schedules, approval requirements, and conditions of the loan. Alexander PCs does not set or control those terms. We also do not see your personal financial information, interest rate, payment schedule, or private approval details.

Available financing options may change over time. We consider our pay over time partners carefully and may add or remove providers at our discretion, with quality and transparency at the forefront of our business decisions.

Is every customer approved for financing?

No. Financing approval is determined by the selected lending partner, not Alexander PCs. Each provider has its own approval process, terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements.

All financing details are presented by the lender before you complete your purchase.

Do Alexander PCs come with a warranty?

Yes. Alexander PCs systems are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.

We stand behind the systems we build. Warranty coverage is subject to our warranty terms, conditions, and exclusions, but our goal is always to support our customers clearly, fairly, and professionally.

What does “Lifetime Limited Warranty” mean?

Lifetime Limited Warranty means we provide long-term support for the system under the terms of our warranty policy. Some parts, services, or situations may have specific limitations or exclusions, so customers should review the full warranty policy for complete details.

The short version: we build our systems to last, and we do not disappear after the sale.

Do you provide tech support?

Yes. Alexander PCs provides US-based support for our customers. If you have a problem, question, or concern with your system, contact us and we will help you work through it.

We know these machines because we build them.

What happens if my PC is damaged during shipping?

If your system arrives damaged, contact Alexander PCs immediately before attempting repairs, discarding packaging, or continuing to use the system. We may need photos of the packaging, the system, and any visible damage in order to assist with a carrier claim or resolution.

Our systems are packed carefully, double-boxed, and shipped with protection in mind, but carrier damage can still happen. We will help guide you through the next steps.

Can I upgrade my Alexander PC later?

Yes. Most Alexander PCs are built with standard high-quality desktop components, which means they can often be upgraded over time. Upgrade options depend on your specific system, motherboard, power supply, case, cooling setup, and compatibility requirements.

If you are unsure what upgrade makes sense, contact us before buying parts.

Do your PCs include Windows?

Yes. All Alexander PCs come standard with Windows 11 Pro installed, updated, and activated with a genuine Windows license.

Do your systems come tested?

Yes. Every Alexander PC is assembled, configured, and tested before shipment. We check the system for stability, functionality, thermals, and overall readiness before it leaves our shop.

Testing is one of the most important parts of the process. A good PC is not just built, it is verified.

Do you include a recovery USB?

Recovery USBs are optional add-ons at checkout. We will be happy to create one for you for a minimal cost.

Can I make changes after placing an order?

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a change. We will do our best to help, but changes may not always be possible once parts have been ordered, the build has started, or the system has entered testing or shipping preparation.

Custom work, special-order components, and design changes may affect pricing and timeline.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes, but cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee. When an order is placed with Alexander PCs, work begins quickly behind the scenes. Even before a system is fully assembled, our team may begin reviewing the configuration, reserving inventory, ordering parts, scheduling build time, processing payment, and preparing the order for production.

Because every PC represents real time, labor, planning, and component allocation, cancellations can create costs that cannot always be recovered. Some parts may have already been purchased or pulled from inventory, build time may have been reserved, payment processing fees may already have been charged to us, and other customer orders may have been scheduled around that order.

Our cancellation fee helps offset those costs.

This fee is not designed to punish customers. It exists to keep the process fair, protect our team’s time, and ensure we can continue offering high-quality systems, careful planning, and transparent service to all clients.

For Ready-to-Ship systems, cancellation requests may affect inventory that was removed from sale. For preconfigured and custom builds, the impact can be greater because parts, labor, and project planning may already be underway. Custom projects may also involve special-order components, design work, or other non-recoverable costs.

We understand that plans can change, and we try to handle cancellation requests as fairly as possible. However, once an order is placed, Alexander PCs begins committing real resources to that order. The cancellation fee reflects that reality while allowing us to maintain the quality, reliability, and service standards our customers expect.

Builds are planned with care. Orders are handled seriously. Our policies exist so we can continue doing both.

Do you accept returns?

Return eligibility depends on the type of system, the condition of the product, timing, and our current return policy. Custom and specially configured systems may have limitations.

Please review the full return policy before purchasing, and contact Alexander PCs with any questions before placing your order.

Do you build business or professional workstations?

Yes. Alexander PCs offers professional workstation solutions, including Alexander Pro Series Workstations and NVIDIA Studio-focused systems. These machines are designed for creators, professionals, engineers, designers, AI workflows, production environments, and other demanding use cases.

If you need a system for business, production, or professional work, contact us and we can help point you in the right direction.

Do you offer AI workstation or business AI solutions?

Yes. In addition to building powerful workstations, Alexander PCs offers AI-focused hardware guidance and integration services for businesses. If your company is exploring AI workflows, local AI systems, GPU workstations, or practical AI adoption, we can help you evaluate the right approach.

How do I choose the right PC?

Start with what you want the system to do.

For gaming, consider the games you play, your monitor resolution, refresh rate, and performance expectations.

For creative work, consider the software you use, file sizes, GPU acceleration, CPU needs, RAM requirements, and storage.

For business or AI use, consider your workload, security needs, expandability, support expectations, and long-term growth.

If you are unsure, contact us. We would rather help you buy the right system than sell you the wrong one.

Why choose Alexander PCs?

Because we care about the machine, the customer, and the standard attached to our name.

Alexander PCs systems are built by real people, tested with care, supported in the United States, and backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Whether you need a gaming PC, creator workstation, ready-to-ship system, or full custom build, our mission is the same:

Build it right. Support it properly. Make it worthy of the name.

Join the Empire.
